Where to Find Reading Material
The TDP team will help as much as possible with providing reading material if they have access to it. Many of the books on the general reading list can be ordered from your local library which you can search for through The Peoples Network or can be ordered through your local bookshop – most of the general texts are also available to buy online through, for example, Amazon or Abe Books.
The London Archaeological Archive and Research Centre will also be able to help, although an appointment needs to be booked in advance in order to visit the Centre.
The more specialised texts can be accessed via UCL’s Institute of Archaeology library, and other University of London libraries. There may be a charge for borrowing books. More information on public access to UCL and University of London libraries can be found on the UCL Library visitor website.
City University also allows public access to it’s library for a fee. Students at these institutions can access other collections within the London area for free and can find out more information here.
The British Library will also hold copies of most of the texts on the list.
